eCourtsPulse

Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and eCourtsPulse ("we", "us"), a sole proprietorship based in Punjab, India, operating the website ecourtspulse.com and related services. By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms.

1. What the service is

eCourtsPulse tracks court cases you choose to follow in the Indian eCourts system and delivers updates — causelists, next hearing dates, case status changes, and order copies — to WhatsApp and to your account dashboard.

2. What the service is not

eCourtsPulse is an information delivery tool, not a law firm, and nothing it sends is legal advice. All case information originates from the publicly available eCourts services of the Government of India. We present it as received; we do not create, verify, or certify it. Always verify hearing dates and orders against the court's own record before acting on them. We are not responsible for errors, omissions, or delays in the underlying court data, or for consequences of relying on a delivered update.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate signup details and keep your login credentials safe. You are responsible for activity under your account. One account is for one practice — sharing credentials across chambers requires the appropriate plan tier for additional recipients.

4. Plans, billing and renewals

Current plans and prices are listed on the pricing page. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Cancellations and refunds are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy. By subscribing you authorise automatic recurring charges through our payment processor; in line with RBI guidelines, you receive a pre-debit notification before each renewal charge. We may change prices; changes never affect a period you have already paid for, and renewals at a new price are notified at least 30 days in advance.

5. Fair use

You agree not to: misuse the service to overload or disrupt it or the eCourts system; resell or redistribute the service without our written agreement; attempt to access other users' data; or use the service for any unlawful purpose. Case limits and delivery recipient limits for each plan are enforced.

6. WhatsApp delivery

Updates are delivered to the WhatsApp number(s) you register. By registering a number you confirm you have the right to receive messages on it. WhatsApp is a third-party service; delivery depends on its availability and on your device being reachable. Message history on your device is yours to keep — we recommend it as your archive.

7. Availability

We aim for reliable, timely delivery but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the service or of the upstream eCourts system, which is outside our control and undergoes maintenance and outages of its own.

8. Intellectual property

The service, its software, and its branding are ours. Court records and case data belong to their respective public sources. Your case list and account data are yours.

9. Warranties, liability and indemnity

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including losses arising from a missed or incorrect hearing date, to the extent the underlying information was missing or incorrect at the source or delivery failed for reasons outside our control.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these terms, including registering a WhatsApp number you are not authorised to use.

10. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice where practicable. On termination we delete your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes are notified by email or WhatsApp before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Ludhiana, Punjab have exclusive jurisdiction. If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
